With the exams quickly approaching, it is important to make sure that the time you spend revising is effective. Below is a quick guide to effective mathematics revision from Hegarty Maths as well as further information on the resources available to you.

Remember, you are sitting the Edexcel Linear Mathematics GCSE (calculator and non-calculator)

Remember:

1) Believe in yourself! You can achieve in mathematics if you revise effectively.

2) Practice, practice, practice! Practice until you can't get it wrong.

3) Mark every piece of revision practice you do - did you get full marks? If not, what did I need to do? Can I attempt a similar question to see if I can now get it right?

4) Practice every day - to truly achieve in mathematics, it will take consistent practice. This does not mean that you neglect revising for your other exams, every subject is important.
